Addie Gorlin is a director, producer, and educator invested in the regional theater movement, new play development, and theater for all-ages. Recent: And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank at Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The Song of Summer, Charm, and According to Coyote (Mixed Blood Theatre- Minneapolis), Strange Heart Beating (Cloudgate Theater- Chicago), Good Person of Szechwan, Eurydice, Twelfth Night, and Streetcar Named Desire (Brown/ Trinity Rep), Next to Normal (Brown University undergrad mainstage), Laramie Project (Children’s Theatre Company- Minneapolis), I and You (Phoenix Theater and Children’s Hospital of Minnesota), and Five Tries (Cutting Ball Theatre- San Francisco). Addie has developed work at Magic Theatre, The Playwrights Center, The Lark, Mixed Blood, Hudson Stage Company, Riverside Theater, Ivoryton Playhouse, and has served as an assistant director at The Public, The Guthrie, Trinity Rep, and A.R.T. among others.
